your call, and do contest exchanges
for you in your own natural voice!
You can record and play back five
natural-sounding messages in a total of 75 seconds. EEPROM technology
stores messages for up to 100 years with no battery backup needed.
You can repeat messages continuously and vary the repeat delay from 3 to 500 seconds.
A receive audio jack lets you record and play back off-the-air signals—no more “please
repeat”. Makes a great voice beacon too. Keyer requires a 9 volt battery, 9-15 Vdc power
source, or 110 Vac with optional MFJ-1312D Wall Adapter. Uses 8-pin modular or 8-pin
round microphone plug.

Speech Intelligibility Enhancer

Developed by Martin Jue to compensate
for his hearing loss, this enhancer
significantly increases speech energy
above 500 Hz where 83% of intelligibility
is concentrated, and reduces speech
energy below 500 Hz where only 4% of
intelligibility lies. Amateur radio communications limit audio to about 300 to 2700 Hz. The
enhancer splits the audio band into four overlapping octave ranges centered at 300, 600,
1200, and 2400 Hz. You can boost or cut each range by nearly 20 dB to maximize speech
intelligibility for most kinds of frequency loss.
Output audio is split into left and right channels with separate 2.5 watt amplifiers; a
balance control lets you equalize the perceived loudness to each ear. The enhancer works
with SSB, FM, AM, CW or any voice mode on ham, marine, aircraft, and CB bands.

MFJ-392B Communications Headphones
These headphones are perfect for amateur radio and shortwave
listening in all modes—SSB, FM, AM, data, and CW in mono
or stereo. Each earphone has an individual volume control.
The padded headband and ear-cushioned design make
listening extremely comfortable. The headphones handle
450 mW and have 100-24,000 Hz frequency response.

The ClearTone speaker improves speech intelligibility
